Harris County is proud of our Humane Society of Harris County, providing adoption and humane animal rescue for the community. From
time to time, Triple H Kennels may have homeless dogs available for adoption via
the Humane Society. Please

Buddy is a very large full (130 lbs) blooded German
Shepherd with papers. His former owner is elderly and can no longer care for
him. He is in good health and is a very gentle dog. He is also quite smart. He
knows how to open doors and likes to "sing". He is happy indoors and outdoors
but needs EXERCISE. You will have to agree to:
1. Have Buddy neutered
2. Have a fenced yard
3. Keep him on a high quality maintenance pet food
4. Keep him on Sentinel or Frontline
He gets along well with other dogs but will become overly protective of small
dogs; in fact he will protect "his" small dog friends to the point that he will
get grouchy with you! Our shelter does check up on our dogs. We do take the
above seriously. We do not charge a fee, but we do take donations. Contact us on
